September 26: Exco Meeting / Slingers Game

The Club had an Exco meeting on 26 September 2006 over pizza and beer at Brewerkz Indoor Stadium, followed by a Singapore Slingers basketball game at the Brewerkz box seats. Many thanks yet again to Devin & Brewerkz for keeping our stomachs satisfied and bringing us in for the game.

The meeting discussed the following:

• Progress of the Club’s house cleaning efforts. Most done save for Ops Manual (to be done by Chi Ho) and change of bank signatories.
• Discussion of future events. We talked about a Christmas event in December & about the Yale SOM trip to Singapore in January, which we will organise something for then.
• Update on Young Bulldogs initiative.
• Proposed Relatively Recent Graduates of the Yale Club of Singapore. Shawn shared with meeting that Erina had proposed this; and that both would be working to organise a more regular meeting to bring recent grads together.
  
• Funding for Young Bulldogs initiative and Relatively Recent Graduates of the Yale Club of Singapore. Shawn sought funding for the admin costs of running the YB and RRG groups. Estimated about $100 per event. Will provide more detailed proposal to next Exco for approval.
