May 26: DUAL Trivia Challenge Event

The Club fielded a team to participate in the DUAL (Distinguished Universitites Alumni League) Trivia Challenge Event, on Saturday 26 May 2007 at the American Club (Colonial Room) from 7 – 11pm. One of the highlights of the event was a quiz session on Nutrition, which mainly involved participants tasting V Tee Room cookies and trying to guess what ingredients were involved in making them.

ABOUT DUAL

For those new to DUAL, it is an umbrella organisation of 18 alumni clubs - Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Cornell University Hoteliers, Dartmouth, INSEAD, John Hopkins, London Business School, LSE, MIT, NUS MBA, Oxbridge, Princeton, Standford, UChicago, UMichigan, UPenn and Yale. In essence, DUAL serves as a platform for members of the different clubs to get to know each. It is also through DUAL that other alumni clubs’ activities are open to the Yale Club of Singapore. Past events that our Club has taken part in include the DUAL Charity Balls, Concert Night, Thanksgiving Dinners, Bowling Tournaments and DUAL Drinks.
